It appears that the rumors were true. It has finally been confirmed that the original cast of Star Wars, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Peter Mayhew will be reprising their roles in Star Wars Episode VII. Though this may not come as much of a shock to most people, confirmation of these speculations have been a long time coming. We can also expect to see newcomers to the franchise, including Andy Serkis (most likely for motion capture). Shooting begins in a few weeks.
